We are House Finders Northern Italy. We offer House Finding Services for Piedmont and Liguria, and House Buying and Other Services throughout all of Italy.
We offer all of our Services to people of all countries.
House Finding Services: We specialize in finding classically Italian properties for sale in desirable areas throughout the Unesco World Heritage protected regions of Piedmont and Liguria. We are not agents, we find listings from all sales agents for our clients and then introduce our clients to the sales agents that represent those properties.
House Buying Services: We counsel, represent, and help guide Buyers -- for all regions of Italy -- through the intricate Buying Process, advising on Buyer Protections, protecting Buyers' Interests, and keeping the file moving forward.
Other Services: From obtaining the elusive codice fiscale, to on-site visits and inspections and videos, to personal tours of the area, to acting as Power of Attorney, we offer a wide range of on-the-ground services.
We moved here several years ago and in the process discovered a serious need for anyone looking to find and buy a house in Italy where there are no buyer's agents, only seller's agents. We are not agents but we act as the buyer's representative -- here, on the ground. Over the years we have helped hundreds of clients to Find and Buy, and through this we have gained invaluable experience and expertise. We do the monumental groundwork necessary to help clients find the right house in the right location and we facilitate, steer, protect, and help clients through the buying process. We live here, we are native English speakers, we speak Italian.
We specialize in finding houses located in, what we believe to be, Italy's most beautiful regions and its best-kept secrets – Piedmont and Liguria in Northern Italy.
Why Piedmont?
- Affordable - house prices here are significantly less than comps in its better-known neighbors of Tuscany, Umbria, Amalfi Coast, The Lakes Region.
- Nature - Piedmont is a region of spectacular natural beauty with lakes and forests and mountains and valleys. Covered in vineyards and hazelnut groves and sunflowers and lavender campi. With fields so vibrant green that they glow. With almost 300 square miles of national parks, Piedmont ranks as one of the top regions in acreage of protected natural lands, and one of the top regions in number of trees per hectare, an important contributor to and consideration for a high standard of air quality.
- Undeveloped - Much of Piedmont is covered by Unesco World Heritage site protections which greatly limit development, construction, and industry. Much of Piedmont is rural, in the country - but with an abundance of quintessential hilltop towns and ancient villages located throughout, houses are rarely remote or isolated.
- Centrally Located - At almost any location in Piedmont, you are just an hour or so drive from some of Italy's most spectacular cities and places including Milan, Turin, the Dolomites, Barolo, the Lakes District (Como, Maggiore, Orta...), Genoa, the Italian Riviera, Portofino, Cinque Terre.
- The Whole Package - Because of its rich cultural heritage, natural beauty, undisturbed historic towns, and comparatively low real estate prices, many are now naming Piedmont as the best place to buy a house in Italy.

Monferrato is stunningly beautiful and surprisingly undeveloped. We have been traveling throughout and taking in all corners of Piedmont over the years and we find this little known area of Monferrato to be extremely special.
